Whether you’d like to train with us, interview us or referee our matches, Strikers Quidditch offers a wide variety of opportunities for individuals to get involved and support our teams.
As well as becoming players, individuals can become referees or work with our media assistants or coaches.
Become a Striker
Quidditch is available to all sporting abilities and experiences and our players range from established athletes to beginners. Members have the opportunity to take part in the competitive quidditch season, which runs from September to April, as well as attending weekly training sessions in Portsmouth.
With 4 different on-pitch roles and an ever-growing team, there’s never been a better time to join Strikers. Quidditch training can be used as an opportunity to get fit, socialise, or take part in competitive sport, and offers members the chance to compete in tournaments and fixtures throughout the season.
Individuals of all backgrounds, sporting abilities and sizes make up the invaluable members of our teams, many of whom stay with us well past their first season. Our community teams train once a week and have regular fixtures. Players for competitive teams must be over 16 years old, but Strikers will be opening up youth sessions in the future for 11 years old and up.
New players are welcome to join our regular community training. We don’t expect our athletes to have played quidditch before and train you from the ground up, getting new players involved from their very first day.
We advise contacting us before your first session to confirm training times and locations, as these can vary throughout the year due to the weather and light.
